Next
weekend (April 13-14), Wired Gallery
will present a pop-up exhibit of ASTRID
FITZGERALD’s
magnificent work spanning several
decades in the space recently vacated by
the home décor store
Spruce,
at the intersection of Route 213 and
Mohonk Road in High Falls.
You can catch the ephemeral show on
Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm
with the artist reception on Saturday
from 5-7 pm.
The
reception is catered by Chef John
Novi's
DEPUY CANAL HOUSE,
our
restaurant sponsor (also reopening
on that weekend, so consider
combining the show with a dinner
before or after).
While the reception is going, check
out the Open House event by Catherine
Gerry Interiors upstairs
where several of Fitzgerald's work
will also be on view.
Hope you can join us next weekend as
we celebrate the work of a seminal
visual artist and bring life to a
key and highly visible location in
the center of town.
